30th Annual Lighting Ceremony
3–8:30 p.m., Hotel Colorado, Glenwood Springs

Launch the holiday season at the historic hotel, as half a million lights are turned on simultaneously, followed by fireworks. Beforehand, admire the recently renovated public spaces throughout the first floor while enjoying an ice carving demo, live music, singing and dance performances, and a visit from Santa. Dinner Through the Decades

To help celebrate The Little Nell’s 30th anniversary, don’t miss this flashback meal for the ages. The hotel’s founding executive chef, George Mahaffey, will join current executive chef Matt Zubrod in presenting a five-course, prix-fixe menu of American-alpine cuisine.
