While that other major mountain made headlines for scooping up yet another ski resort Monday, Aspen has expansion news of its own. Under the Mountain Collective season pass, which Aspen Skiing Company led to launch in 2012 in partnership with Liftopia, Telluride and Revelstoke are the latest additions to an already impressive roster of resorts.
The 2016/2017 season includes two days of skiing and riding at each of the fourteen partner destinations, which now spans four continents. Plus, there’s plenty of other pass perks: a 50 percent discount on all additional days (with no blackout dates!), two days at each Global Affiliate Destination (Chamonix in France, Hakuba Valley in Japan, and Valle Nevado in Chile), exclusive lodging discounts, and a complimentary one-year Protect Our Winters membership.
“We're thrilled to partner with two of the finest independent resorts in North America. Of particular interest to locals is the first ever formal linkage to Telluride, which shares similar values and a big mountain experience that resonates with Aspenites,” says SkiCo's VP of Marketing Christian Knapp. “Revelstoke is an up-and-coming resort with the biggest vertical drop in North America, access to heli and snowcat adventures, and a perfect compliment to our other offerings in Canada.”
The Mountain Collective pass is available now for a limited time at $409 ($99 for kids aged 12 and under), which you can purchase here.
See you on the slopes in 107 days (not that we’re counting or anything).
