With over a decade of experience in the jewelry industry and 16 years in Aspen, Cynthia Jankowski has created her Hive. Opening its doors on June 1, 2022, The Aspen Hive won the Best of Aspen that same year. Cynthia, firmly committed to this local community, named her store in the spirit of all the strong women who have kept supporting her and pushing her forward. 

At the Hive they gather. They do this not only by curating a collection of female goldsmiths and women designers from the US that Cynthia meets and gets to know, but also by bringing locals together with numerous book signings, pop-ups, and fundraisers. “I have nothing but gratitude for our little town,” Cynthia reflects.  

Although it is a new business, the space has housed a jewelry store for over 50 years. Cynthia carries out the tradition with her own twist. “We are always looking for that different piece that reminds us of a special trip we took or the special memories from our lives.”
