First Friday on the 100 Block

Before or after you wander through the galleries in Carbondale's Creative District, stop by the Marble Bar for a special cocktail menu and local, live music from The Milemarker’s. Free, marbledistilling.com

Ullr Nights
5 p.m., Snowmass Mountain
Bundle up and ride the Snowmass gondola to some family-friendly snow play, including lift-served tubing ($34 per hour; reserve in advance), free ice skating, free snowshoe tours, snowbiking ($69 guided rides for ages 12 and up, free minibikes for younger kids), and climbing on a massive snow sculpture. Aspen Art Museum Après Ski
3-5 p.m., S/O Café
Head from the slopes to Level 3 for a more creative après with spectacular mountain views, art making, live music, free snacks, and discounts at the café. Spring Board White Out Black Night

Don your best black-and-white cocktail attire and dance the night away in support of this local nonprofit for young professionals, which since 1997 has been committed to empowering a new generation to be leaders, philanthropists, and volunteers. $25, springboardaspen.org

Elephant Revival 
7:30 p.m., Wheeler Opera House

Silverboom Nordic Ski Race and BBQ marks it's 45th year on Sunday. 

Sunday, March 5

Silverboom Nordic Ski Race and BBQ

The beloved Americana Music Series is back for another full month run in March (Wednesday and Sunday nights with select Sunday brunch performances) programmed by Justice Snow’s Music Curator Brad Manosevitz, who describes the woman-focused lineup as, “a chance to showcase talented female singers and songwriters and a celebration of music that is distinctly American.” Free, justicesnows.com
