Explore Booksellers presents: Being a Mother in the Amazon Rainforest
In honor of Mother's Day, join author and artist Judy Hass for a presentation of her book about a woman who raised 11 children in the Amazon and wrote a moving letter about being a mother after one of her sons died. Arbor Day

The City of Aspen's Parks Department presents a celebration honoring the holiday of trees with bucket truck rides for kids, a raffle, and informational booths on plating, care, insects, wildfires, and more. Dandelion Day

Starting with the Procession of Species Parade on Main Street, the crowds flow into Sopris Park where local organizations and educational talks give attendees the opportunity to learn about incorporating environmentally friendly practices into their lives. Family Workshop
