Mandala Sand Painting: Guided Meditation
9 a.m., Aspen Art Museum
Since July 5, Tibetan Buddhist monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery have been in residence to construct a temporary mandala sand painting as part of their annual visit to Aspen. Join them for a special meditation session before they complete their temporal masterpiece. Free, aspenartmuseum.org

Hairspray

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet

After making a splash in 2016 with his critically-acclaimed Aspen Santa Fe Ballet choreographic debut, Brazilian choreographer Fernando Melo returns with a second world premiere ballet that blends video projection with stirring movement. Dog Day Afternoon

Mandala Lecture: Geshe Lobsang Tenzin & Closing Ceremony
