The Stirling Cup All Star Weekend supports Aspen Junior Hockey, which serves over 300 youth hockey players in the Roaring Fork Valley with over 40 volunteer coaches.

Stirling Cup All Star Weekend

NHL alums from the Dallas Stars face off against former Chicago Blackhawk' players (in their first Stirling Cup appearance) on Saturday in this signature three-day fundraiser for Aspen Junior Hockey. The weekend, now in its 17th year, kicks off with a welcome reception hosted by Robert and Lexie Potamkin on Friday and wraps with a tourney at the Aspen Golf Club on Sunday. $5 GA tickets for Saturday's game, aspenjuniorhockey.com

Love, Loss, and What I Wore
7:30 p.m., The Temporary at The Arts Campus at Willits

In this play by Nora and Delia Ephron based on the 1995 book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman, actresses present a series of monologues that address women's relationships, the issues they create, and the clothes worn when tackling them. Family Friendly Art Session

Museum Day Live!

The doors to Aspen Historical Society's museums are open free of charge as part of Smithsonian magazine’s 13th annual Museum Day Live! The nationwide event emulates the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution, whose Washington-based facilities offer free admission every day. Carbondale Oktoberfest
