Friday Morning Uphill Breakfast Club

New this year, uphill skiers are able to enjoy breakfast in the restaurant every Friday after hiking up the mountain. History Ski Tour

12 p.m., Aspen Highlands Merry Go Round

Sunset Skiing and Sundeck Party

Ullr Nights

 

5–9 p.m., Snowmass

Bundle up and ride the Snowmass gondola ($10) to some family-friendly snow play, including the new Breathtaker mountain coaster and lift-served tubing ($49 for a two-hour activities pass to access both; reserve in advance), free ice skating, free snowshoe tours with a guide from the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (6 and 7:30 p.m.), snowbiking ($72 guided rides for ages 12 and up, free minibikes for younger kids), and climbing and sliding on a massive snow sculpture. Opening Reception: Word Is Bond

This collaborative exhibition with Stanley Bell and Takeo Hiromitsu at the R2 Gallery brings together two artists and their individual styles through painting. Helly Hansen 4 Mtn Mission

Join an adventure scavenger hunt race across all four of Aspen’s ski areas, starting at Snowmass and ending at Aspen Mountain. Your team of two or six will use a smartphone app to navigate check points at each ski area. Choose between an intermediate/expert terrain mission or a family-friendly, beginner/intermediate option. Aspen Ascent Experience

 

9 a.m.–3 p.m., Buttermilk

For the second year in a row, Aspen Skiing Company and the City of Aspen partner to host this uphill festival. A vendor village at the base of Buttermilk features the latest demo gear for skinning, while clinics will be offered every hour on the hour through 1 p.m. A mountain-top party welcomes all uphillers who complete the trek to the top. Easter Party/Egg Hunt

 

12 p.m., Aspen Recreation Center

Kids can join in on a good old-fashioned Easter egg hunt this holiday weekend, with three separate hunts for different age groups. Other activities include climbing for eggs, rubber duck races in the lazy river, hunting for pennies in the shallow end (which can be traded in for eggs), and a Bunny Hop diving competition.
