This highly popular adventure film festival includes four programs of short films, filmmaker appearances, live performances, informative talks and panels, and parties throughout the weekend. All of the festival’s programming centers around the themes of adventure, the outdoors, the human spirit, and conserving our natural surroundings. The Anderson Brothers Bring You the Magic of Benny Goodman

Dead Floyd

Covering both Pink Floyd and Grateful Dead songs, this group of four was named one of Westword’s 10 Finest Tribute Bands in 2016. Aspen Parkrun

8 a.m., Aspen Recreation Center

Every Saturday, the Aspen Recreation department hosts weekly 5K timed runs. The course will follow the High School Trail through the school district to the Marolt Open Space, continue over the Castle Creek foot bridge, and then return. Parkrun is an international movement that encourages communities to sponsor free runs open to all. Free, parkrun.us/aspen

20th Annual Fryingpan River Cleanup

Divine Beloved & Sacred Cacao Ceremony

Shook Twins & the Dustbowl Revival

Two musical groups join forces for this evening of Americana sounds. Earth Day Celebration

2–5 p.m., Farm Park at Cozy Point Ranch

Celebrate Earth Day with alpacas Kona and Roy and all of the new baby farm animals. Put on by Aspen TREE, the afternoon is open to all ages and includes live music, children’s activities, and local vendors. Shut Up and Play the Hits
