Finally, a quiet weekend! But that doesn’t mean it’s boring—spend your days playing in the sun, then get your dance on when the night comes. Remember, it’s Memorial Day Weekend, so you have an extra day to kick back and relax!

Friday, May 25

Freedom to Connect
5 p.m., The Launch Pad at CCAH
Enjoy an evening of live music and live art performances, an open wine bar, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction to raise money for the nonprofit Healing Out Loud and its new Connect course. Created by Lauryn Maloney-Gephert, the specialized course trains providers in neuroplastic functional training, as a way to treat long-term orthopedic issues. Suggested $75 donation

Vaudeville Dinner Theater
6 p.m., Glenwood Vaudeville Revue
Bring the whole family for two hours of comedy skits, songs, dance, and entertainment. This is the last weekend for the spring show. $16–$24, food and drinks à la carte, gvrshow.com

Bass Physics
10 p.m., Belly Up Aspen

Aspen Parkrun
8 a.m., Aspen Recreation Center
Every Saturday, the Aspen Recreation department hosts weekly 5K timed runs. The course will follow the High School Trail through the school district to the Marolt Open Space, continue over the Castle Creek foot bridge, and then return. Parkrun is an international movement that encourages communities to sponsor free runs open to all. Free, parkrun.us/aspen
