Redstone Castle Tours

Built in 1902 by robber baron, industrialist, and coal magnate John Cleveland Osgood, the castle still contains his cigar smoke, and other apparitions, some say. Aspen Darkside Ghost Tour

The scent of pumpkin spice wafts through the air, and the leaves are in their last phase of changing colors, so get in the spooky spirit on a 60-minute walking tour that shares true stories of ghosts, murder, and mayhem dating back to 1879. Rock 'n' Roast: Halloween Bash with the Posers

Aspen Parkrun
8 a.m., Aspen Recreation Center
Every Saturday, the Aspen Recreation department hosts weekly 5K timed runs. The course follows the High School Trail through the school district to the Marolt Open Space, continues over the Castle Creek foot bridge, and then returns. Parkrun is an international movement that encourages communities to sponsor free runs open to all. Free, parkrun.us/aspen

Thrill the World: Zombie Dance Event

Join thousands of others around the world for this annual global celebration of Halloween and Michael Jackson. Presented in partnership with Coredination and Bonedale Ballet, local zombies, who have been rehearsing until the wee hours, will perform a choreographed group dance to Jackson's iconic song Thriller. Cemetery Tour: Walk with the Dead

Call of the Wild: Illustrated Edition

Become immersed in Jack London's legendary tale of Buck, the canine who was kidnapped from his California home and sent to Alaska to work as a sled dog during the Klondike Gold Rush. The show uses a 180-degree projection screen that surrounds the performer and features classic illustrations from the book, historic photographs, and drawings and animations.
