International Games Week–Day 4

Rock Bottom Ranch Farmyard Tour
11 a.m., Rock Bottom Ranch, Basalt
Staff and educators lead explorations of the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies working ranch, including the animal paddocks, hoop houses, and gardens. They will also share the science behind vegetable production and livestock rotational grazing. Tours are appropriate for all ages. $5 per person/$10 per family/free for members, aspennature.org
42nd Annual Emma Schoolhouse Christmas Bazaar

Art After Hours: Doug Graybeal

The library remains open late for Basalt's 2nd Fridays Artwalk, so visitors have time to meet Graybeal and see his display of watercolor and pastel paintings. The exhibit will be up through the month of November. Free, basaltlibrary.org
JAS Presents: An Evening of Jazz

The Roaring Fork High School Jazz Band, along with other top local music students, will join the Jazz Arts Messengers, from the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts, for an evening of mainstream and contemporary works, including original pieces written by students to raise money for music in schools. Aspen Parkrun

Every Saturday, the Aspen Recreation department hosts weekly 5K timed runs. The course follows the High School Trail through the school district to the Marolt Open Space, continues over the Castle Creek foot bridge, and then returns.
