Over at Mi Chola (411 E. Main St., 970-710-7076, aspenchola.com), specials run 4 to 6 p.m. in the bar area, with the likes of $8 tamales, $4 Negra Modelos, and $10 Roca Patrón margaritas. The Peruvian-style shrimp ceviche may not be on the happy hour menu, but it’s still worth ordering for the unusual blend of citrus, cucumber, and fruity aji amarillo chiles.

Rustique Bistro (216 S. Monarch St., 970-920-2555, rustiquebistro.com) has the most generous happy hour (4–6 p.m. daily) in town with $6.50 glasses of wine and an extensive menu that ranges from $7 wild boar soppressata to $10 profiteroles with brie and Parma ham. If you can, secure a spot on the sunny patio.

From 5 to 6 p.m., nab half-price sushi rolls and Atomic shrimp at Maru (320 S. Mill St., 970-429-8640, maruaspen.com). With the money you’re saving, order the scallop sashimi with yuzu, white soy, crispy garlic, and sesame off the regular menu.

At Jing (413 E. Main St., 970-920-9988, jingaspen.com), the bar menu happy hour begins at 3 p.m. and goes all night. Make a meal out of chicken satay ($6), pork shumai ($6), and crispy spring rolls ($6). If you’ve got your eye on one of the cushy banquettes on the newly expanded patio, the happy hour menu is only available from 3 to 6 p.m.

In Snowmass, a vibrant happy hour can be found at Venga Venga (105 Daly Lane, Snowmass, 970-923-7777, eatvengavenga.com) from 3 to 6 p.m. daily. Order a serrano-orange margarita for $8, tableside guac for $9, and chicken tinga flautas for $6 to make a mini feast.
