Aspen Music Festival and School

Presented by Aspen Music Festival and School December 23, 2025

Most people think of the Festival as a summer tradition. What do you wish more people knew about the winter months?

We make music all year! There’s a passionate group of people who believe Aspen should have great performances in every season, not just summer. Their support brings artists like Conrad Tao and the Junction Trio to Harris Concert Hall, and this year ends with a finale featuring violinist Augustin Hadelich and pianist Francesco Piemontesi in his AMFS debut. Winter concerts feel different. They’re smaller, more personal, but full of life. It’s like gathering around a fire with friends.

For our philanthropy-inclined readers, what can giving to the AMFS look like this time of year?

A winter gift helps keep the music all year, directly supporting the winter music series and our many education and community programs across the Roaring Fork Valley.. Some people give to support our concerts. Others join us for our winter events. Between December and March, we’ll partner with Lugano Diamonds, Hennessy, and the Snowmass Mountain Club to host three beautiful evenings of music, food, and conversation. Your ticket is also a gift that helps the Festival continue sharing these experiences with the community.

For readers who want to support your mission, where can they start?

Let’s start with a conversation!  Call us at 970-205-5061 or email [email protected]. We’d love to hear  what inspires you and find ways to get involved. If you’d prefer to explore quietly first, visit aspenmusicfestival.com/support/support-winter-music for more details. However you reach out, we’re always happy to connect and grateful for everyone who helps keep Aspen full of music, even in the “quiet” months.
