If you're already familiar with the Snowmass Bike Park, there's more in store for this summer. And, it you haven't been yet, you're in for a treat! Aspen Skiing Company and trail designer Gravity Logic have expanded the Snowmass Bike Park with these new sections of trail that opened last year or will come online this summer, with another five miles of trails slated for summer 2019.

-A new section of Verde debuted last July, helping segregate beginners on this easy trail from nearby intermediate bikers.

-Animal Crackers, an expert swath of single-track in upper Elk Camp, opened last July.

-Construction on the 4.8-mile intermediate Trail 14 started last summer, and the upper half, from the top of the Elk Camp lift down to the bottom, should open by mid-July; the trail’s second half, which will descend to the gondola’s midstation atop Assay Hill, may open in late summer.

-Trail 4 will be a 1-mile flow spur off Valhalla that gives expert bikers a step up in challenge; it may open by early September.
