The most common way I wear the multifunctional Buff is as a neck gaiter–it locks in warmth, prevents chilly drafts and zipper chafe, and pulls up over my lower face on blustery days. Yet, with gaiters made of fleece or more traditional fabrics, breathing into it is when the frozen wet spots happen.
