Scenes from the white room on Thursday, January 5, 2017. Aspen Snowmass received over a foot of new snow with more on the way!

Another epic and hectic holiday rush has come and gone with the arrival of a powder storm just in time for the weekend ahead. We're taking our first official "Winter Friday" to shred Aspen Highlands, where The National Ski Areas Association Safety Month is kicking off a full January of festivities across all four mountains. Meanwhile in Glenwood Springs, you can score $20 lift tickets at Sunlight Mountain Resort on Friday as part of its ongoing 50th anniversary season celebration. Get your skis shined up, grab a stick of Juicy Fruit, and see you on the slopes or around town!
