Every Friday, athletes showcase their creativity and skills in an urban-inspired rail garden on Fanny Hill for cash prizes and giveaways. The "Little Jibbers" competition lets kids under the age of 12 show off their best moves.

Ullr Nights
5 p.m., Snowmass Mountain
Bundle up and ride the Snowmass gondola to some family-friendly snow play, including lift-served tubing ($34 per hour; reserve in advance), free ice skating, free snowshoe tours, snowbiking ($69 guided rides for ages 12 and up, free minibikes for younger kids), and climbing on a massive snow sculpture. Elk Camp restaurant serves dinner with live music, followed by s’mores and hot cocoa by the bonfire.

This month’s artist and theme for the drop-in workshop is Gary Hume and snowmen in action. The session begins in the Education Workshop, giving families choices for self-guided or educator-led activities and art-making stations.

Snowmass Moonlit Trek
6–9:30 p.m., Snowmass Cross Country Center, Black Saddle Bar & Grille
Celebrate the far side of the full moon with a 1.2-mile snowshoe or cross country ski tour under the stars at Snowmass Cross Country Center with a post-trek pasta feast complete with live music and s’mores by a roaring fire. Ski and snowshoe touring equipment rentals are available for $10 per person.

This 21K Nordic competition (with classic and skate divisions) is one of Colorado’s largest cross-country ski races. The course twists and turns from Snowmass Village to Aspen, finishing up at the Aspen Cross Country Center.
