Après Ski Cocktail Classic
Times vary through Sunday, The Little Nell
This annual slopeside celebration takes your average bar crawl up a notch or two, with an entire weekend dedicated to all things après and craft spirits. Based at The Little Nell, the event features grand tastings, private reserve tastings, and mixologist-led seminars as well as pairing dinners, pop-up bars around town, and on-mountain events. Ullr Nights
5 p.m., Snowmass Mountain
Bundle up and ride the Snowmass gondola to some family-friendly snow play, including lift-served tubing ($34 per hour; reserve in advance), free ice skating, free snowshoe tours, snowbiking ($69 guided rides for ages 12 and up, free minibikes for younger kids), and climbing on a massive snow sculpture. Elk Camp restaurant serves dinner with live music, followed by s’mores and hot cocoa by the bonfire. $10 (gondola ride), gosnowmass.com

Brazilian Jazz Sessions

Noam Pikelny
7:30 p.m., Wheeler Opera House
Get ready for some prime picking as three-time Grammy nominee and Punch Brothers founding member Pikelny, considered the preeminent banjoist of his generation, takes the Wheeler stage. His show coincides with the release of his next album, Universal Favorite. $25, aspenshowtix.com

The Tempest
7:30 p.m., Lon Winston Theatre
Thunder River Theatre Company (TRTC) brings William Shakespeare’s final play to the Carbondale stage with a talented cast of local actors on weekends through March 11. $15-$30,  thunderrivertheatre.com

The 9th Annual Green Is The New Black Fashion Extravaganza: SHE
8 p.m., Carbondale Recreation Center
Presented by Carbondale Arts and full of locals, performance art, multimedia, inspiring sustainable fashion and a storyline to boot, this show isn’t just entertaining– it is about raising money to provide arts education to our youth in the Roaring Fork Valley. $35 (CA Members), $40 (non-members), carbondalearts.com

Snowmass Moonlit Trek
6–9:30 p.m., Snowmass Cross Country Center, Black Saddle Bar & Grille
Celebrate the far side of the full moon with a 1.2-mile snowshoe or cross country ski tour under the stars at Snowmass Cross Country Center with a post-trek pasta feast complete with live music and s’mores by a roaring fire. Ski and snowshoe touring equipment rentals are available for $10 per person.

Winter Music: Robert McDuffie
6:30 p.m., Harris Concert Hall
Aspen favorite McDuffie, who appeared here last with childhood friend and former R.E.M. bassist Mike Mills, returns, along with his renowned 1735 violin, for a concert with pianist Elizabeth Pridgen. The program will feature Ravel, Stravinsky, a composition by Aspen Music Festival and School head Alan Fletcher, and more. $55, aspenmusicfestival.com

Theatre Aspen Tony Awards Winners Ball

Americana Music Series presented by KDNK: Nate Hancock and the Declaration
