It's Time for the 2019 Aspen Ice Spectacular: Hooray for Hollywood!

Local and professional skaters take to the ice for a dazzling show at Lewis Arena this Saturday.

The show is designed to ensure every skater has his or her moment to shine.

Behr always features the club high school skaters, in order to show their dedication to maintaining academics while being committed to skating.

25 local skaters, ranging in age from 5 to 17, will appear in the show.

Most skaters have a costume change during the show.

One of the coaches took 15 pairs of skates to Grand Junction last weekend to have the blades sharpened in time for the show.

Aspen's Revolutions Skating Club, under the leadership of Peggy Behr and a team of four additional coaches, is ready to entertain local audiences with its sixth annual Ice Spectacular this weekend. The show includes local skaters, as well as 14 professionals from around the country, plus Canada and Germany. Those professional skaters include Aspen native and two-time Olympian Jeremy Abbott and fellow Olympian Ashley Wagner, who have both come to headline the show.

Shows will take place Saturday, 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., at the Lewis Ice Arena at the Aspen Recreation Center. Tickets range from $20–$75.
