Her passion for proactive, preventative health care originates from her experience working in the CVICU at the renowned DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center. “I saw many relatively young patients with irreversible damage from preventable diseases,” says Lisa. “This inspired me to focus on preventative medicine, to keep people healthy instead of only treating disease after it does damage.”
