Since 1991, Aspen Youth Center has provided a safe and supportive place where youth in grades 4 through 12 from Aspen to Parachute connect, learn, and grow during their out-of-school hours—for free. We do this by offering daily, staff-led programs and independent and free play. Programs include Art Spot, Top Chef, Mad Science, Community Crusaders, athletic opportunities, homework help, dance, yoga, and more. We also offer robust Outdoor Explore programs, including rock climbing, horseback riding, rafting, hiking, hut trips, skiing, and snowboarding. Throughout the quarantine, we offered youth virtual programs to keep them engaged, and we will continue to serve our youth and community through in-person and virtual programs. Our programs are free due to generous individual donations, grants, and events. Aspen Youth Center is a 501c3 youth nonprofit.
