JAS Local Education Initiatives: complement existing public school music programs and replace programs where schools suffer losses in music education. The goal is to ensure that our Valley schools maintain strong music programs in their curriculums and high-quality instructors in their classrooms.

JAS local initiatives include instrument donations, private lesson funds, instructor assistance in classrooms, summer camps, scholarships, funding of field trips and special events throughout the year, and more.

JAS Academy presented in collaboration with the Frost School of Music at University of Miami: invites gifted young students to an intensive training program designed to identify and develop these artists into world-class musicians who are also trained in the business of music and its multifaceted dimensions. Twenty-three students spend two weeks in Aspen studying with jazz masters, such as Academy Artistic Director Christian McBride and Frost Dean Shelly Berg.
