Who is CORE?

CORE is a nonprofit that has been helping local homeowners and businesses save energy, time, and money for over 30 years. We provide funding, expert guidance, and innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions in buildings, offering free energy concierge services and financial incentives to make energy-efficient upgrades more accessible. From homes to public buildings, CORE supports transformative projects that benefit both the community and the environment.

WHY DO WE DO THIS WORK?

We can’t deny that our world is facing an urgent climate crisis. We’re seeing increasing wildfires, droughts, and extreme weather. While everyone has the power to make an impact, the high cost of living and doing business in our region puts sustainable solutions out of reach for many. CORE steps in to close the gap between aspiration and action so that our community doesn’t have to choose between taking climate action and preserving our livelihood—we can do both.
